Outdoor Stilt Aerial Movement Spectacular
Denver, CO, June 2008 – The Cherry Creek Arts Festival announces its
2008 Festival Feature: FLEXION presented by Forest City Stapleton, Inc.
The 18th annual, three-day festival takes place on July 4, 5, and 6
with 350,000 attendees anticipated. With three daily Flexion
performances throughout the weekend, everyone will have the opportunity
to enjoy this unique performing arts troupe.
Appearing from Santa Fe, New Mexico, Flexion performs a dynamic outdoor
movement spectacular combining stilt acrobatics with hanging, falling,
and flying. Flexion features five acrobats on stilts rolling into
backbends, splits and a myriad of sculptural forms that will literally
stretch one’s perception of the human body.
The Festival Feature will take place on Fillmore Plaza across from the
Janus Main Stage. Festival attendees will be able to get up close and
personal with the performers as they present their 30-minute expression
of artistic movement.
Information about the 2008 Cherry Creek Arts Festival and its exciting new features is available at www.CherryArts.org.
